Glasgow has starred as the backdrop for some huge films over the years as well-known faces from Hollywood have descended upon the city’s streets.
As the winter nights draw closer, nothing quite beats putting a film on so we wanted to pick out some of our favourites which have been shot in the city.
1. The Batman

2. Shallow Grave
Danny Boyle's directorial debut, starring a young Ewan McGregor, follows three New Town flatmates whose lives spiral out of control when they find a briefcase full of cash. The film was shot in both Edinburgh an Glasgow. Photo: Unknown
3. Tetris

4. Under the Skin
Scarlett Johansson filmed in Glasgow back in 2013 for the film Under the Skin. Follow the story of Johansson's character who seduces lonely men in the evening hours in Scotland. However, events lead her to begin a process of self-discovery. | Supplied
