Street food in Glasgow is incredibly overlooked - we've got plenty of amazing stalls, food trucks, and other small independent eateries that absolute knock fast food outlets out of the park in terms of quality and quantity.
From the very best hot filled rolls to some delicious snacks the likes of which you thought you could only find in Hong Kong markets - Glasgow does street food incredibly well - the very best in Scotland we'd argue. That's in no small part due to the multi-cultural melting pot of Glasgow, good luck finding the massive variety of street food here in the city compared to somewhere like Edinburgh.
Whether you fancy Asian street food, or a fusion between Asian and Scottish, we've included street food from the middle east and north Africa, Greece, China, and beyond that you can find here in Glasgow.
We wanted to celebrate the very best of Glaswegian street food today - so take a look below to check out 12 of the very best street-level food trucks, stalls, and other small outlets that offer street food here in Glasgow.

5. Mrs Falafel - 1 Ashley Street, Woodlands
Mrs Falafel is colourful, cool, and class. As far as looks go, its without a doubt the prettiest food truck in the city. It's a shame its stuck next to a petrol station and not on the top of a symmetrical green hill like a Wes Anderson film. | Glasgowist

6. Rafas - The Hidden Lane, Finnieston
Rafas is well worth a visit to The Hidden Lane alone. It's some of, if not the, best Mexican street food you can find in Glasgow, hands down. If you're lucky you can find them in a food truck alongside Big Feed events across the city in places like Kelvingrove Park. | Contributed

7. Chawp Pet Noi - 1109 Pollokshaws Road, Shawlands
Chawp Pet Noi offers an extensive menu, most of which most Glaswegians will have never even heard of, never mind tried. That's why it's the perfect pitstop for the Southsider looking to try something new. | Contributed

8. Falafel to Go - 116 Sauchiehall Street, City Centre
I love Falafel to Go. It's a personal favourite of mine - its got the perfect location, its very reasonably priced, and its delicious. For £5 (up from £4, thank you cost of living crisis) you can get a massive falafel wrap the size of your head. Perfect for a hungover afternoon. | Contributed
