The application site compromises the first, second and third floors of 205 Hope Street, above Rufus T Firefly. The planning proposal relates would see the former commercial property (a salon) transformed into serviced one bedroom apartments consisting of 8 units within the building. While the property is not listed, it does sits within the Glasgow Central Conservation Area - and was originally used as a residential tenement.
No alterations will be made the street facing façade, other than the removal of the old salons signage beside Rufus T Firefly.
