Glasgow is a city built on the back of many neighbourhoods - Glaswegian culture wouldn't be what it is today without neighbourhoods like Dennistoun, Finnieston, and the rest.
Without a doubt Glasgow has the best heritage, people, and patter out of any place in Scotland - although we may be a bit biased in that regard. That's why we asked our audience: 'What's the best neighbourhood to stay in Glasgow?'.
Are we saying one scheme in Glasgow is better than another? Not at all. One man's utopian dream scheme is another mans dystopian neighbourhood nightmare, we Glaswegians are a people of many different tastes - so it's impossible to say that one scheme is objectively better than another.
As one commenter put it:"It’s got to be wherever you are happy, with lovely neighbours and real friends and to me that is Glasgow"
Ranked in no particular order, these are the best areas to live in Glasgow, according to Glaswegians.

9. Knightswood
Knightswood has an incredible sense of community, it's own golf course, and it's only 10 minutes from the West End - what more could you want? | BBC

10. Partick
Partick is one of the best places to stay in Glasgow, with a huge amount of pubs (like the Rosevale Tavern pictured above), restaurants, transport links, and much more. | Getty Images

11. Maryhill
Maryhill is one of Glasgow's most underappreciated schemes. It has a lot to offer, and most of Still Game was filmed there, how much more Glaswegian can you get? | dod

12. West End
The area of the city with the most representation in the comments was undoubtedly the West End. While not technically a scheme per-se, more just the entirety of the West of Glasgow, it's hard to deny that the West End has its own unique culture compared to the rest of Glasgow. | Thomas Nugent
