Glasgow Fort has confirmed it will become home to a new and improved Zara store next year, after the clothing chain chose the popular shopping destination for its flagship Scottish location.

Work has already started on the new store, expected to open in late 2023. The current Zara will continue trading until the new store opens its doors.
Phil Goodman, centre director at Glasgow Fort, said: “We are thrilled to be able to share this news and we know our visitors will be just as excited as we are. Our Zara store is extremely popular and we’re proud that they have chosen Glasgow Fort to go even bigger and better, making it one of the flagship stores for the whole of the UK.
“As well as bringing a great new range to Glasgow, it will also bring with it even more job opportunities for the local area, and we can’t wait to see it come together next year.”
Zara’s new store will add to Glasgow Fort’s existing line up of popular fashion brands, which includes Mango, Tessuti, Next and River Island. Glasgow Fort is open 10am – 10pm on weekdays, 9am – 7pm on Saturdays and 10am – 6pm on Sundays.
