Defender coy on future
Nikola Katic has admitted he is unsure whether he has a future with Rangers.
The defender was loaned out to Hadjuk Split last term.
He has told Sportske novosti:
“I have a contract, I played some matches during the preparations, some I didn’t. There are a lot of us, there is strong competition, but as everywhere, the struggle is day by day.
“I think I have the quality to play for Rangers, but of course it all depends on the coach, we’ll see. That’s all I can say, I can’t say whether I’ll stay at Rangers or not, whether I’ll sign a new contract or not.”

The youngster is not looking to go out on loan at this moment in time.
He has said, as per Rangers Review:
“There’s always an option of that (loan) but I think, at the minute, I’m looking at staying, establishing myself and getting some minutes and trying to push for a spot in the team or at least involvement in the team in the games coming up this season.”
Celtic continue to watch player
