From spooky film-screenings, to themed markets and raves, and dressed up comedy events here is a list of just some of the events you can attend in the city this Halloween.
Spine-tingling Halloween movie nights at Kimpton Blythswood Square Hotel & Spa
Blending spooky thrills with the hotel’s signature touch of luxury, Kimpton Blythswood Square Hotel & Spa is inviting guests for an evening of ghoulishly good fun this Halloween weekend. From Thursday 31 October to Saturday 2 November the venue is hosting movie nights in its exclusive screening room including showings of the Women in Black, IT, and Jeepers Creepers, promising cinematic terror paired with creepy cocktails.

Hide AdHotel Manager Marcello Ventisei said they were “turning up the fright factor this Halloween. Our guests can expect a luxurious scare like no other – where devilishly good cocktails meet haunted classics in our intimate cinema. We want people to relax while indulging in a classic scary movie within the Blythswood Square setting – porting people into a different world is what we do best."
Including pre-show drinks and canapés guests can enjoy an intimate night of terror in the hotel’s 44-seat cinema, decked out in custom Harris Tweed fabric. They are also encouraged to dress in their most creative costumes which a special prize for the best one.
Tickets are priced at £27.80 per person, and with each ticket, guests will be treated to a luxury evening full of scares and sophistication.
The doors creak open at 6.30 pm, with the scares kicking off at 7pm. Guests can purchase tickets via EventBrite:

Rave’n Ball & Market
Glasgow’s Witch Market and Edinburgh’s Alternative Night Market have collaborated to host a night of debauchery beneath the skylight at Barras Art and Design (BAaD). A spooky market showcasing a range of small businesses and artists followed by a Wednesday Addam’s style party will be taking place on 31 October.
There is a lineup of talent preparing to transport guests into a world of wonder on the night, including a fire performer, burlesque, live country music and a DJ alongside themed cocktails, food, tarot readings, face painting, comedy and games.

Hide AdScream Queens: Stand-Up Comedy Halloween Special
The team behind Blood, Sweat and Fears podcast is brining the ultimate Halloween comedy night to Blackfriars of Bell Street. Attendees are encouraged to arrive in costume and enjoy a night of laughter and spooky fun.
Hosted by Paddy Linton and with a headline set from Eleanor Morton, the lineup also features Chris Thorburn, Daniel Petrie, Dean T. Beirne, Alan Jay and Kyle Samuel.
