Susanna is a Trainee Sports Reporter for NationalWorld, creating SEO and original content on all trending sports topics and upcoming tournaments. She enjoys focusing more on cricket, Formula 1 and women’s football and hopes to continue expanding the coverage of women’s sport on the site. She hails from Bath, Somerset, but has been based in Edinburgh for several years, studying English and French Literature at the University of Edinburgh before taking up an Apprenticeship with NationalWorld and City of Portsmouth College. During her year abroad, Susanna worked as a teaching assistant in Paris but always maintained a strong interest in sports journalism, writing cricket reports for The Student. Susanna has been part of National World's Women’s Super League show since it’s first edition in September and has been part of a steady audience growth on that front. Some notable articles of Susanna’s include interviews with former England footballer Lianne Sanderson; FIFA Uncovered producer Miles Coleman and campaigners raising awareness for MND Davy Zyw and Malcolm Holwill, as well as the reaction to Eilidh Barbour’s tweet following Scottish Football Writers Awards. Outside of work, Susanna can usually be found wherever there’s a cricket match on and in her spare time enjoys reading, dancing and attempting to learn the cello!
